Way back in 1988 Jan Miller started making jewellery at the kitchen table with her little daughter Catherine, just

simple pieces for Xmas gifts for friends & family......... but years later living in Cairo & visiting the ancient Souk with it's narrow alley ways overflowing with semi-precious bead merchants, inspired her to attend an Egyptian jewellery school. Today she still visits Cairo & trades with these same merchants, selecting every strand of beads personally.

On her return to the UK Jan broadened her skills with silver-smith, Polymer Metal Clay & Wire Work classes at different workshops across the UK, resulting in a comprehensive knowledge of hand crafted jewellery. Jan now shares the joy of making jewellery, passing on her experience, & the guidance she has received over many years, in small classes held regularly in her lovely studio in Shropshire.

Students of all ages leaves Jan's classes with an amazing sense of achievement and at least two pieces of lovely jewellery made with their own hands.
