Wire 1

This class will introduce you to the varying thicknesses of wire, their ideal uses & the specific tools used in wire work.

We practice with silver plate wire before you move on to sterling.

You will learn to make simple rosary loops to hang charms or make earrings, and learn to wire wrap in silver wire, then move on make a simple clasp and wire spirals. During the class you will make at least one piece of jewellery. After Wire 1 you will be able to make the following:-

Wire 2

You can then progress to more advanced wire work, making spirals, caging/wrapping cabochons, intricate

links & making connectors to construct your own link bracelet or necklace. content of class varies according to your needs.

  Wire 1 novice level half day with refreshments £20.00 pp

  Wire 2 advanced level half day with refreshments £20.00 pp
